We do Endurance Riding, Adult Riding Club and ATHRA Trail Riding with our horses because they are suitable for a wide range of pursuits including Adult Riding and Pony Club, pleasure mounts for trail riding etc.... They are bred to be agile hardy mounts. You can do what you want with them.
Average sizes range from 14hh to 15.2hh.
We're sure you'll be happy working with us because we Have standards of care and practice that we will meet to make sure sales are stress free for you and us.
- We routinely feed our broodmares before they are in foal, while they are in foal and then when they have their foals at foot.
- We "creepfeed" our foals and then when weaned, we will follow them up with suitable nutrition for optimum growth rates on a balanced ration.
- We vaccinate our foals for tetanus and strangles.
- We worm drench our foals from 3 months of age onwards as part of the property's de-worming programme.
- We have their feet examined and trimmed regularly by a professional farrier to promote straight leg growth.
- We brand and register our foals with a suitable breed or performance horse society and will hand the papers to you at point of sale. (There will be no "I'll post them on to you" scenarios!)
- You will be given a receipt for your purchase.
- We will assist you in organising transport with a transport company of your choice or one that we trust, at your expense.
